You know how you go through life thinking "How can things get worse?"


Well, I've had 1 surgery in my 30 years, and it was taking my wisdom teeth out. After April next year, 2 of my kids will have had 4 surgeries in 5 combined years of life. Tomorrow my son will have semi-emergency surgery for a condition called pyrotic stenosis. All in all, it's not a very serious surgery, though the condition can be serious if not caught. But, damn, I'd like to have a year free of medical events in the family. Been far too long since that happened.
